# The AI Doom Loop is a Career Trap

- **The Keyword Mirage:** Over **54% of candidates now use AI tools** to game ATS algorithms, with **40% adding false keywords or skills** and a third inserting hidden text just to trick automated screeners.

The result? **It’s AI talking to AI.**

Candidates use algorithms to produce generic applications, and companies use algorithms to filter them out. Everyone is working harder, but nobody is making a real human connection.
